3/8" Tubing - Black (100' coil) is used for a long run between nozzles over 25' due to friction loss in smaller tubing without nozzles.
Is also used to boost pressure mid-length in long straight runs, but normally multiples of 100' is required for that use. Example: 70 nozzle circuit is approximately 700 feet long, thus halfway is 350 feet so it would require 4 of these 100s but it is cheaper to buy a full 500' roll at that point.
To change between 1/4" normal nozzle circuit tubing and this 3/8" oversize tubing you'll need a 3/8" coupling and a MistAway Reducer Plug 1/4 X 3/8 FOR BOTH ENDS of the 3/8" tubing purchased.
Example, buy 100 feet of 3/8 tubing and TWO 3/8 couplings and TWO Reducer Plugs (5 items).
THIS IS NOT NORMAL SIZE NOZZLE CIRCUIT TUBING. THIS IS SPECIAL (LARGE) SIZE TUBING FOR OTHER USES.
If you wish to build a nozzle circuit using 3/8 tubing only the "SLIMLINE BIG-TUBE TEE-NOZZLE" and 3/8" fittings will fit this tubing.
